GIVE BACK

When Scott & I dreamed up a lifestyle company, we wanted to make sure there was an opportunity to give back to non-profit organizations that are doing amazing work to help our world be a better place. If it speaks to us or our customers personally - even better!

Each quarter, we design a boutique with this idea in mind and donate 50% of the proceeds to the non-profit organization that's been elected.

WHAT | OUR PARTNER IN GIVING BACK

This quarter, we will be donating proceeds to Furever Dachshund Rescue (FDR). This is a women-run organization comprised solely of volunteers. Their main goal is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home abused, abandoned or stray dachshunds, and they have a focus on education and awareness so that the care of dachshunds and all animals gets better and better.

Our Give Back boutique which benefits FDR is open from April 1st to June 30th, 2019.

WHY | OUR STORY

Our personal story with this organization started 5 years ago, when we went looking to bring home a rescue puppy of our own. The ladies at FDR took the time to get to know us so they could match us with the perfect little guy. Stanley came home on April 19, 2014 and the rest is history!

If you are thinking about getting a dachshund, I highly recommend working with FDR. They take amazing care of their not-yet adopted dogs in foster homes (no shelters) and take a holistic approach to working with each of their families. Until their dachshunds are adopted, the costs of taking care of the dogs are incurred by the foster families. Whether you want to adopt or shop a cute mug, every penny goes into directly helping a dog who is waiting for their furever home.
